Books

Arrived today Pearls of Functional Algorithm Design by Richard Bird. I’ll enjoy working through it. I still haven’t finished The Haskell Alphabet tho’… So much to learn, so little time.

My Haskell has fallen a bit behind my OCaml, in the sense that the range of “real work” I am doing (and am able to do) in it is greater. Perhaps I ought to focus on OCaml for that, and leave Haskell for the “fun”/theoretical stuff, at least for a while. Tho’ my long term goal is still to be doing real, production work using either or both of them, as easily as using Python or Tcl.
